With the 1/4'' bit adapter (6.3 mm), you can also use drill chucks with your cordless bit screwdriver, so that you can also use it with twist drill bit with a cylindrical shank.
The adapter is compatible with drill chucks with a 1/2"-20 UNF threaded mount.
Inserting the adapters creates a plug-in connection, which also reduces a runout accuracy of a drill chuck. It is therefore mainly suitable for normal drilling work. For precision work, we recommend not using threaded or plug-in connections. Here, we recommend a drill chuck with a taper mount and a machine with a Morse taper mount.

Applications
When screwing the adaptor into the 1/2" threaded seat of the drill chuck, it is recommended to use liquid screw locking. The adapter allows the chuck to be used with a drill with a BIT adapter mount.
