With the BaerCoil® machine installation tool you can install 1/4-28 UNF wire thread inserts easily and efficiently into your workpiece. The machine installation tool is only suitable for free-flowing wire thread inserts. thread inserts with screw locking (type: screw grip) cannot be processed with this tool.
The high efficiency of the BaerCoil® installation tools for wire thread inserts proves itself in series production. With the 1/4" hexagonal connection, your installation tool fits into any electric or pneumatic screwdriver. The adjustable depth limit ensures that the thread insert is always inserted to the same depth.
For an exact depth limitation, the lock nuts must be adjusted to the corresponding installation depth (1/4 - 1/2 turn below the surface). The nuts can be tightened and loosened with a 7/16'' spanner. Then the thread insert can be screwed onto the insertion tool and screwed into the receiving thread. As soon as the lock nut rests on the workpiece, the machine must be set to counterclockwise rotation so that the insertion tool turns out of the thread insert. Hard contact of the tool with the workpiece must be avoided to prevent damage to the workpiece, the tool and the thread insert.
