With the BaerFix® machine installation tool you can easily and efficiently install self-tapping thread inserts in the dimension M 3 into your workpiece.
The high efficiency of the BaerFix® installation tools for proves itself in series production. With the 4 mm square drive, the installation tool can be operated mechanically, e.g. with tapping chucks or collets with square drive.
Turn the outer sleeve so that when you start screwing in, the stop pin is in contact so that it drives the sleeve when screwing in. Screw the threaded insert onto the threaded pin until you see the tip of the threaded pin at cutting slot or the cutting holes.
Run the machine until the thread insert is screwed into the workpiece. Avoid placing the tool hard on
the workpiece as this may break the BaerFix®, the workpiece or the insertion tool.
Switch your machine to reverse. The outer sleeve is carried along by the stop pin and thereby deconterates with the thread insert.
