Our HSSE metal drills are precisely designed for their intended purpose. They can effortlessly drill materials such as stainless steels, rust-, acid- and heat-resistant steel, carbon steel, metal sheet, tool steel, aluminum alloy, plastic plates, iron, alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast materials, bronzes, quenched and case-hardening steels up to 1200 N/mm², and copper. With these metal drills, you can create a clean and consistently round hole without pre-drilling with such ease that even one-handed operation with a battery-operated drilling machine is feasible. This is made possible by a special geometry. Our metal drills are particularly characterized by their triangular shank and the self-centering turbo tip .
Sturdy grip with a triangular shank
The unique triangular shank is found on all our POWER metal drill bits starting from a diameter of 4.0 mm. The shank, with its distinctive shape, is perfectly designed to be gripped and held by a three-jaw chuck. As a result, our metal drills are much more securely fixed than those with a round shank. Moreover, this allows for particularly efficient power transmission, which offers significant energy savings. All our POWER metal drills starting from a size of 3.0 mm diameter feature a self-centering turbo tip. This is especially well-suited for drilling into sheets or tubes. HSSE belongs to the group of high-speed steels. All such steels offer exceptional properties such as high-temperature resistance and high strength . The high-speed steel from which our metal drill bits are made also contains 5% cobalt in the alloy. The cobalt increases the hot hardness, making the metal drill even harder. Thus, it is well-equipped even for use in highly resistant materials.

The HSSE Drill Bits for metal drilling can be found in two different metal drill sets in our online shop. Both sets differ in the number of metal drills.
The smaller metal drill bit set covers sizes from 1 mm to 10 mm. The larger set also starts at 1mm but extends up to 13 mm in size. The individual sizes of the metal drill bits increase in increments of 0.5 mm.
Both metal drill sets come in a convenient plastic box. In this box, each stainless steel drill bit has its designated spot, clearly marked with the respective dimensions. This ensures you can pick the right drill bit quickly, avoiding any confusion or mix-ups. Stored in the plastic box, the metal drill bits are kept safe and free from dust and dirt. Not only does this protect your hands from injuries but it also safeguards the tips of the drill bits from unnecessary wear and tear.
