Our twist drill bit are mainly used in industrial manufacturing. Among other things, they can be used in CNC machines, pillar drills, drill presses, cordless screwdrivers, impact drills and hammer drills. With their cylindrical shank, they can be clamped in both quick-change drill chuck and keyed drill chuck. The cutting direction is right and the point angle is 118°.
As they are characterised by high efficiency and low production costs, they are often used in series production

Every material has its own individual cutting behaviour. That is why twist drill bit must have the right geometries and be made of high-quality materials. Twist drill bit consists of the drill shank, the chip-removing flutes and the drill tip. Decisive for the application range of the drill is not only the material, but also the cutting edge geometry, the rake angle and the twist angle, the so-called twist.
This ensures a good chip transport and dimensionally accurate drilling.
These twist drill bit are - like the bare HSSG drills - suitable for steel as well as for steel and grey cast iron and also have a titanium nitride coating (TiN), which reduces friction during drilling and has a higher hardness. This perfect finish of the drill achieves a significantly higher cutting performance and tool life time when drilling. The metal drills are suitable for drilling steel and cast steel (alloyed and unalloyed), grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, nodular cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, graphite.
Quality for a long service life
The high-alloy tool steel allows up to four times higher cutting speeds than conventional tool steel. The accuracy is higher than with HSS-R drills, allowing more precise machining with long tool life and tight tolerances. They also feature good chip evacuation and are self-centering.
