General Safety Information
These safety instructions apply to all tools and accessories available in our shop.
Please read and follow these guidelines carefully to prevent injury and damage.
1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, work gloves, and a respirator if necessary.
- For heavy-duty tasks, wear safety shoes with steel toe caps.
2. Tool Inspection
- Before each use, inspect your tools for damage, wear, or deformation.
- Never use damaged tools.
3. Clamping and Securing
- Secure workpieces firmly in a vise or holding fixture to prevent movement during work.
- Ensure a stable mounting of the tool in the machine or hand holder.
4. Lubricants and Coolants
- Always use appropriate lubricants or cutting oils to increase tool life and reduce friction.
5. Cleaning and Storage
- Clean tools after use and remove chips using the proper tool—never with your bare hands.
- Store tools in a dry place, protected from moisture and frost.
- Keep tools out of the reach of children.
6. Instructions for Use
- Use tools exclusively for their intended purpose.
- Modifications to the tool or the material composition are strictly prohibited.

Product-Specific Safety Information
1. Threading Tools, Forming Taps und Accessories
Hazard Warning:: Improper handling can lead to cuts.
Usage:
- Have cutting paste ready to lubricate the material and extend the service life of the threading tool or formiung tap.
- Use these tools only for their intended purpose.
2. Drill Bits
Hazard Warning: High rotational speeds may cause injuries due to heat and sharp edges.
Usage:
- Select the correct drill diameter for the specific application and material.
- Ensure the drill bit is securely clamped in the drill chuck.
3. Holding and Actuation Tools (e.g. tap wrenches, die holders)
Hazard Warning: Improper use may lead to crushing or slipping incidents.
Usage:
- Regularly check that holders are securely tightened.
- Always choose the appropriate holder for the tap or die.
4. Lubricants and Cutting Paste
Hazard Warning: Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
Usage:
- Store lubricants out of the reach of children.
- Apply cutting paste sparingly to the work surface.

5. Thread Repair Tools
Hazard Warning: Improper handling can damage the thread or the tool.
Usage:
- Work slowly and steadily to avoid damage.
- Always use appropriate thread gauges to check the repaired thread.
6. Countersinks and Step Drills
Hazard Warning: Improper use can cause cracks or splintering in the material.
Usage:
- Apply even pressure to achieve a clean countersink.
- Use suitable cutting fluids.
7. Drill Chucks
Hazard Warning: Incorrect installation can lead to tool breakage.
Usage:
- Make sure the drill chuck is mounted securely and aligned properly.
- Check the secure hold of the tool in the chuck before starting.
