SDS-plus adapter
With the SDS-plus adapter, you can also use drill chucks with your hammer drill, so that you can also use twist drill bit with a cylindrical shank with it.
The adapter is compatible with drill chucks with a 1/2"-20 UNF threaded mount.
Inserting the adapters creates a plug-in connection, which also reduces a runout accuracy of a drill chuck. It is therefore mainly suitable for normal drilling work. For precision work, we recommend not using threaded or plug-in connections. Here, we recommend a drill chuck with a taper mount and a machine with a Morse taper mount.

Applications
When screwing the adaptor into the 1/2" threaded seat of the drill chuck, it is recommended to use liquid screw locking. With the adapter, the drill chuck can be used with a hammer drill for normal drilling work. If necessary, make sure to switch off the impact of the drill.
