HSSG 90° Cross Hole Countersink 15 - 20 mm
HSSG 90° Cross Hole Countersink 15 - 20 mm
In contrast to the taper countersink, the cross countersink has a lateral opening through which the chips are discharged. This prevents the chips from getting stuck between the drill and the workpiece. With the BAER HSSG cross hole countersinks, which are mainly used for deburring, you achieve clean results with easy handling. A hole in metal should always be deburred as well, as the edges of the hole are very sharp. This is useful both to avoid cutting injuries and to achieve a flat surface.
Do you want to machine normal steels, cast iron, iron, sheet metal, aluminium and light metals up to a strength of 800 N/mm² with the cross hole countersink? Then the BAER HSSG cross hole countersink made of high-performance high-speed steel is the right choice for countersinking, deburring and countersinking without burrs and chatter marks.

Applications
- Peeling cut: chip flow through the hole prevents jamming of the chips in the workpiece
- for normal steels, cast iron, iron, sheet metal, aluminium and light metals up to 800 N/mm²
- For burr- and chatter-free countersinking, deburring and countersinking
- Best results are achieved with low cutting speeds
