Lengthening sleeve DIN 2187 | MT 4 to MT 3
Lengthening sleeve DIN 2187 | MT 4 to MT 3
The BAER extension sleeves according to DIN 2187 can bridge a high quill distance and enable the use of tools with an MT3 Morse taper on a machine with an MT4 holder. This allows tools to be used further in areas that are difficult to access. For example, drills with Morse taper can be extended to work in deeper holes. In addition, the sleeve minimises the direct load on the spindle and reduces wear and damage. They are made of hardened and ground steel and have an overall length of 240 mm. The sleeves have a Morse taper shank outside and inside and . The flat tang (ejector tang) makes it easy to remove the sleeves from the machine again.
