Taper Shank Arbor with internal thread MT 3 | B 16 | M 12
The taper shank arbor according to DIN 239 connects the machine spindle with the tool clamping head (e.g. drill chuck). It has a Morse taper MT3 with pull-in thread, which can be picked up by the machine (e.g. drill press) and a taper B16 which can be picked up by the drill chuck. At the end of the Morse taper is an M 12 pull-in thread (standardised according to DIN 228 A), through which the taper shank arbor can be easily removed from the spindle without damaging the machine spindle. Our taper mandrels are fully hardened and precision-ground to enable high precision, strength and long tool life time
BAER taper mandrels enable efficient and precise machining of workpieces through their connection to the drill chuck and are indispensable in the metalworking industry.
