With the thread NO-GO gauge plug you can reliably determine whether the actual flank diameter of the internal thread exceeds the prescribed maximum dimension. If you can screw the thread NO-GO gauge plug into the thread from both sides by hand no more than two turns, your thread is true to size. This is an important factor for the quality assurance of your products.
