Reject ring gauges have shortened threads and must not be able to be unscrewed completely. A maximum of two turns is a guide value here. The BAER thread check ring gauge checks the actual flank diameter of the external thread, which must have at least the specified minimum dimension. The external and core diameters are not tested.
