Who hasn't experienced this? You want to hang up the new wardrobe you bought with pleasure, but you don't have the right drill at hand. You quickly reach for the wrong drill. Annoyance and frustration are pre-programmed. With the BAER masonry drills in tested industrial quality, this will not happen to you. Safety instructions
Masonry drill ISO 5468
Carbide tip with 89 HRC hardness
The special drill head has a tip that looks like a hammer. The tip is made of carbide with 89 HRC hardness. This makes it extremely hard, non-flexible and able to withstand high temperatures. The tip first cuts into the stone and the small wingtips on the tip break the stone in the drill hole. With the particularly robust and sharp drill head, fast and precise drilling progress can be achieved in hard materials (such as cement, brick and concrete structures). Another advantage is that the double-edged drill head can be easily resharpened.
The advantages at a glance:
- particularly robust and sharp drill head
- fast and precise drilling progress in hard materials
- the double-edged drill head is easy to resharpen
Masonry drill ISO 5468
Drill body made of carbon steel
The so-called drill body is made of durable carbon steel according to ISO 5468. Thus the drill body is easily bendable and will not break too quickly. The cutting edges run spirally from the tip and merge into the drill shank. The main task of the pronounced and long cutting edges is to remove the drill dust from the drill hole, which is why they are not particularly sharp. With the cylindrical shank, the masonry drills can be used in rotary and percussion drills of all brands.
The advantages at a glance:
- very resistant due to carbon steel
- good removal of drill dust and debris
- Cylindrical shank for all drill chucks
Quality for a long service life
The masonry drills from BAER are characterised by:
- Temperature resistance
- Wear resistance
- Cutting edge stability
- Smooth running + removal of debris and drill dust
This means that BAER stone drills can cope with many hard stone materials. Precise work and long-term cost savings are added to this.
