HSSG Core Hole Drill Bit Set M 3 - M 12

Almost every do-it-yourselfer has worked with them at one time or another: the classic drilling tools for cordless screwdrivers, drills, impact drills or hammer drills. twist drill bit consist of the drill shank, chip-removing grooves and the drill point. Decisive for the application of the drill is not only the material, but also the cutting edge geometry, the rake angle and the spiral angle, the so-called twist.
At BAER you can get ground HSSG- twist drill bit in proven BAER-industrial quality for all common materials used for drilling. The drills are therefore designed to achieve an optimum ratio between performance and price. The drills are suitable for steel, cast steel, grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, nodular cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver and graphite and are also suitable for precise and fast work due to the ground drill point.

The professional HSSG drill bit set from BAER contains all drill bit sizes to pre-drill core holes for M 3 - M 12 threads, so you always have the right drill bit to hand.

ATTENTION:

Do not drill into pre-drilled holes! (The cutting edges of the drills wear out more quickly and unevenly and can break as a result) Always drill only into the full material at the appropriate speed.

Metal drill DIN 338, right-hand cutting with taper cone grinding
ground from the solid, high-speed steel (HSS steel)

Our twist drill bit are mainly used in industrial production. Among other things, they can be used in CNC machines, pillar drills, drill presses, cordless screwdrivers, impact drills and hammer drills. With their cylindrical shank, they can be clamped in both quick-change drill chuck and keyed drill chuck. The cutting direction is right and the point angle is 118°.
As they are characterised by high efficiency and low production costs, they are often used in series production

Drills for normal use

Every material has individual cutting behaviour. Therefore, twist drill bit must have the right geometries and be made of high-quality materials. Twist drill bit consists of the drill shank, the chip-removing flutes and the drill tip. Decisive for the application of the drill is not only the material, but also the cutting edge geometry, the rake angle and the helix angle, the so-called twist. This ensures a good chip transport and dimensionally accurate drilling.
The metal drills are suitable for drilling steel and cast steel (alloyed and unalloyed), grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, nodular cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, graphite.

Quality for a long service life

The high-alloy tool steel allows up to four times higher cutting speeds than conventional tool steel. The accuracy is higher than with HSS-R drills, enabling more precise machining with long tool life and tight tolerances. They also feature good chip evacuation and are self-centering.

Our twist drill bit are characterised by:

  • close tolerances
  • Self-centering
  • Wear resistance
  • Cutting edge stability
  • high smooth running
  • good chip removal

This means that BAER twist drill bit can cope with many material requirements. Precise work and long-term cost savings are added to this.
