Product information

BaerFix Inserting Tool M 5

With the BaerFix® installation tool, you can easily and efficiently install self-tapping thread inserts in the dimension M 5 x 0.8 into your workpiece.
With the 1/4" hexagonal connection, the installation tool can be operated with a cordless screwdriver, ratchet, nut, spanner or handheld screwdriver with bit receptacle.

The thread insert must be screwed onto the insertion tool with the cutting slots or cutting holes pointing downwards and tightened with the nuts. The nuts can be tightened and loosened with a spanner size 8. The BaerFix threaded insert can then be easily turned into the locating hole. Once the threaded insert is installed, the lock nuts must be loosened and the installation tool unscrewed again.
