Thread plug gauge STI-Thread M 8 x 1.25 - tolerance 6H mod
The BAER limit plug gauge is a complete testing system for internal thread. It combines the thread Go gauge plug and the thread NO-GO gauge plug in one tool and thus enables fast and accurate testing of internal threads. The GO side of the plug gauge has a complete thread profile, which must be able to be turned completely into the thread by hand during testing. The reject side is different - it has a shortened thread profile. If it can be screwed in further than two turns, the cut thread is not in order. This system ensures that every cut thread meets the highest standards. The thread to be tested must be clean and free of lubricant residues. The ambient temperature and the temperature of the component should be at 20 degrees. Otherwise, the test result may be falsified.
Note on STI thread
These are STI thread / or STI threads. This thread has an oversize and is only used in combination with wire thread inserts (e.g. BaerCoil).
This plug gauge is used to test the gauge accuracy of the holding thread of the thread inserts.
Calibration
