A set screw is a short bolt or rod with an external thread, usually without a head – often used for fixing or as a locating pin.
Single-cut taps are specialist taps that produce an internal thread in a single pass. Unlike the classic hand tap set consisting of taper, plug and bottoming tap, the single-cut tap combines all cutting stages in one tool.
A solid carbide drill is a high-performance tool for producing precise holes in metallic and hard-to-machine materials. Unlike HSS or HSSE drills, the solid carbide drill consists entirely of carbide – a compound of tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt (Co) as binder. This material combination gives the tool exceptional hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance.
