TurboCentrix
TurboCentrix is a series of twist drills from BAER Tools GmbH. They are made from HSSE/Co5 (high-alloy high-speed steel with 5% cobalt) and are therefore particularly resistant to heat and wear.
Characteristic features of TurboCentrix drills are:
- a stepped point (from approx. 3 mm diameter) that enables precise centre drilling without the need for centre punching,
- and a three-flat shank (from approx. 5 mm diameter) that prevents slipping in the chuck and improves torque transmission.
These properties make TurboCentrix drills suitable for drilling in tough or hard materials, such as stainless steel or high-alloy steels.
