TriTap
TriTap is a product line of universal machine taps from BAER Tools GmbH, made from HSSE-VAP – a high-alloy high-speed steel with 5% cobalt and vapourised surface. The tools feature a special shank geometry combining the traditional square drive with a three-flat shank that provides a secure grip in hand-held drills.
TriTap sets also include the matching twist drill (for core holes) in the same material and with an equally robust three-flat shank. These sets include taps and core hole drills in sizes M3 to M12, typically available for through holes (Form B) and blind holes (Form C).
Thanks to the HSSE-VAP composition, TriTap tools offer increased wear and heat resistance as well as improved tool life – even when machining demanding materials such as stainless steel.
